Diwali is a festival of lights and its celebrated with crackers all over. This is one of the most loved festivals of Indians across all regions and that’s why when anyone has says something that remotely seems negative people get irked.
Take the case of actor Varun Tej who simply supported a cause of cracker free Diwali for the safety of animals and it has landed him in a soup like many other celebrities endorsing similar views. People are questioning by citing the examples of New Year etc and why don’t the same problems arise then for the celebrities.
In the current turbulent times we guess, it’s better if newcomers like Varun stay away from supporting such causes which may cast a negative light on him unnecessarily. May be the bigger stars could take up such issues where there is guaranteed to be a section of followers behind them. What do you think?
