Varun Tej who came to the Industry with the tag of another mega hero has climbed up the ladder gradually from zero to become an ‘A-lister’. He was sensible to quickly realise that his body language and looks wouldn’t suit the regular masala entertainers.
So, he paved a path for himself showing big progress in script selection and choosing a different variety of scripts away from routine mass masalas. No one imagined that he would stand up in the industry and create a space for himself.
Now, his fans can proudly say that he is on the right track and his upcoming films like ‘Ghani’ say that he wishes to continue the same. Films like ‘Kanche’ and ‘Mukunda’ brought him a different tag though the latter was a disappointment.
‘Tholi Prema’, ‘Fidaa’, ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’ and ‘F2: Fun & Frustration’ gave Varun a unique position in the industry though Sai Pallavi walked away with the major part of the cake for ‘Fidaa’ and Venkatesh got the major credit for ‘F2’. ‘
‘Loafer’ bombed big time giving the clue that such movies wouldn’t suit him and Varun Tej didn’t touch them, later. ‘Antariksham 9000 KMPH’ also bombed but it’s given credit for attempting something different, a space film for a change.
