ValmikiVarun Tej’s ‘Valmiki‘ is set to release in three weeks from now. So, it’s time the movie’s business gets going. However, the Telugu remake of Tamil ‘Jigarthanda’ is facing issues in the overseas with regard to securing theatres as there are no takers for the same in the overseas. Why?

The fate of the previous remakes seems to be the reason behind no takers for ‘Valmiki’ besides director Harish Shankar’s track record in the US. The director has never been a favorite in the overseas market, anyway.

When it comes to remakes from other languages, the majority of the overseas audiences might have watched the originals as they happen to be successful films. So, ‘Valmiki’ is facing issues in the overseas market.

Though the remakes of ‘U-Turn’, ‘Rakshasudu’ and the most recent ‘Evaru’ have got positive reviews, they couldn’t excite the overseas audiences as they could have either watched the original or they know the story already from word of mouth.
