Hadn’t it been for the Covid third wave, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar‘s Valimai would have hit the silver screens on the 13th of January. But that wasn’t to be, in view of Covid outbreak. And now, a new release plan is in contemplation for Valimai.
If things fall into place, Valimai might be hitting the silver screens on the 24th of February. It is heard that related back-end arrangements are underway already. The makers are said to be even lining up the promotional material like new posters, other language (Telugu, Hindi) trailers, BTS videos etc.
But the new proposed release plan – 24 February will ultimately depend on the Covid situation. If the Covid caseload is on the decline as it is now, and cinema halls are opened up in major circuits,in all likelihood, Valimai might arrive on 24th of February.
Tamil Nadu government lifted the night lockdown and Sunday lockdown restrictions very recently and that is what propelled the new release plan for Valimai. The action drama is directed by H Vinoth and it has Ajith, Karthikeya, and others in important roles.
