But this Friday release, Ravi Teja’s ‘Touch Chesi Choodu’ surprised the audiences big time for the kind of story Vakkamtham has provided. It is a done to the death story for a mass hero like Ravi Teja. ‘Touch Chesi Choodu’ was directed by debutante Vikram Sirikonda but with Vakkamtham’s story.
Has Vakkamtham consciously stayed away from the promotions of the film as it could raise the doubts on his debut directorial venture? Though it was Vikram Sirikonda who directed the movie and the major blame goes to him for the poor execution, a share of the blame also goes to Vakkamtham Vamsi for the lack-luster story. Hope he would live up to the reputation he earned as a writer and deliver Naa Peru Surya.
