There were rumors for a long time that Trivikram is shadow directing Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab. They said it was Trivikram who made changes to the script of Pink even though Sriram Venu is credited as the writer and the director of the film.
Usually, directors when asked about something like this will feel insulted. But then, Sriram Venu took it sportive when mentioned in an interview. “It was Trivikram garu who got me on board for the film. He was occupied with Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo’s post-production work and could not work on the Vakeel Saab script. He asked me to prepare the script,” Sriram Venu revealed.
He further humbly said,” I am a fan of Trivikram garu’s work. It would have been nice if he worked on the script of Vakeel Saab. Hope I get an opportunity to direct a film that is written by Trivikram garu”. Calling a director dummy directly or indirectly is an insult. But Sriram Venu took it sportive and came up with a humble answer.
Vakeel Saab Releases on April 2nd. Venu’s first film is a flop and the second film even though a hit did not get him the due credit. He is hoping that this film will be the big break for him.
