Vakeel Saab - YS JaganOn the night before the release of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab, the Andhra Pradesh government introduced a GO all of a sudden, declaring that no special shows and no hike in ticket prices would be allowed for Vakeel Saab.

After several theatre owners went to the HC and put forth their issues in the form of a petition, the HC stayed the government’s, GO permitting the theatre owners to conduct special shows and to hike the ticket prices as much as they deem fit.

Now, the AP government, as if affecting Pawan’s film is its main priority, is getting ready to file a House Motion petition in the HC to make sure that there are no special shows or hike in ticket prices. The fact that the AP government is failing to realize is that this would not in any way affect Pawan Kalyan but affect theatre owners in Andhra Pradesh greatly. It is important to permit theatre owners to showcase special shows and hike ticket prices as they bought Vakeel Saab at huge prices.

The film industry will be at a great loss if the AP government doesn’t back down. As it is, Coronavirus greatly affected the film industry, from which it only started to recover from January. With no permission for special shows and a hike in ticket prices, the trade sector of the film industry will be affected, and upcoming big films will be bought at lower prices, leading to more losses.
