Vaishnav Tej’s ‘Uppena’ opened to positive talk from all over and is now declared a hit film throughout the trade. It’s a routine love story but the music and the execution of the story did the trick besides the stunning twist at the end of the movie worked in its favour.
Here, the point of discussion is not about ‘Uppena’ just being a hit but about Vaishnav Tej passing the test with flying colours as the newcomer. It’s a very enviable situation that there is absolutely no criticism or divide talk on his screen presence or performance even though nothing extraordinary.
Vaishnav Tej impressed everyone with his movie and the pointer will now move towards Akhil Akkineni‘s ‘Most Eligible Bachelor‘. This is Akhil’s fourth film getting ready to test his luck on 19th June. So, the comparisons will be obvious.
The track record of GA2 Pictures with an absolute success rate will work in its favour but, the director’s track record may be, a worry because he delivered a blockbuster, way back. The best part is, Tollywood is delivering back-to-back hits after theatres opened post the lockdown.
We really hope that Akhil will also be one of the luckiest persons whose movies worked post lockdown. He already had a launch and re-launches.
