KGF 2 has opened on a super strong note in the domestic and also in overseas circuit. The film has created a sensation of sorts in the USA by emerging as the first Kannada film to collect over $1 million in the USA.
What is interesting is that KGF 2’s Hindi collections in the USA are on par with regional language versions, which hasn’t quite happened with any of South India’s pan-India films films of late.
KGF 2 Hindi’s Thursday early morning tally is $127K. Even in the overall tally, the Hindi collections are said to be very much on par with Telugu, Kannada, and other regional language versions.
KGF 1 was a raging hit in the domestic Hindi circuit and the second part, KGF 2 is doing exceptionally well not just in the North Indian belt but also in overseas.
KGF 2 is on course to get off to a Rs 50+ crores opening in the North Indian belt which is the highest ever for any Indian film till now.
