Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is making a comeback after the not-so-successful Vishwaroopam 2 in 2018. He has teamed up with the much-acclaimed director Lokesh Kanagaraj for this knockout crime drama.
At the US box office, the film has pre-sales of $150 K. There are still 3 more days to go, and the collections will only get better with each passing day. The pre-sales figure has exceeded the expectations of the trade because of multiple factors. Firstly teaser created a great buzz, next casting and director combo working well for the pre-release hype.
The film is carrying good expectations mostly because of the coming together of acting legends like Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil. Lokesh Kanagaraj also has his own fan base following after hits like Kaithi and Master. This has resulted in good pre-sales for the weekend.
If the film gets a positive talk, then the $1 Million mark in the US will be a cakewalk for Vikram.
As per trade sources, Vikram’s worldwide pre-release business is over Rs.200 crores, and the film needs to do phenomenal business to break even.
