Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer, Acharya is up for theatrical release on the 29th of April. The film suffered due to multiple postponements already and is finally releasing in under 4 weeks from now.
Coming to the point, the USA breakeven target for Acharya is a rather surprising one.
The film’s USA theatrical rights are valued at $2.6 million. This is an easily achievable target. All Acharya needs to do is garner a decent word of mouth if it is to breach the breakeven mark in the USA.
The coming together of Chiranjeevi and Acharya is the USP of Acharya and this is more than enough to pull mega fans and commoners alike to the theatres.
Also, the fact that Acharya is Ram Charan’s immediate next outing after the blockbuster RRR adds to the hype on former.
That said, team Acharya hasn’t kickstarted the whirlwind promotions yet. It is about time that they get started with the same in order to build solid buzz to the film ahead of its release.
