When it comes to love stories, the very basic of them is the rich versus poor conflict. Countless movies are made and continue to get made. The only ones who succeed are that manage to package the ‘conflict’ freshly. Uppena trailer promises a classic love story with a fresh retelling. Young Tiger NTR has released it.
Two things catch our mind instantly. They are the visuals and dialogues. It is clear that we will see a poor boy versus rich and powerful girl love story. The opening dialogue itself, which leads to the intro of Vijay Sethupathy shows us the difference.
The rest is just a continuation, on the expected lines. The dialogues, music (by Devi Sri Prasad) and actors take over. There is intensity within the trailer itself. One can feel it. The hint about the ending too is clear.
The dubbing of Vijay Sethupathi feels a bit off considering what we are used to so far. Master, especially, being a very recent release and the actor having a Telangana accent dub in it.
