In the wake of increasing COVID-19 cases in the state, Telangana Government has become alert and has released a G.O. banning the public celebration of festivals, rallies, congregations. Wearing of masks in public places made mandatory and violations will attract prosecution.
This will mean the State Government will not even grant permission for film-related Pre-Release events. Andhra Pradesh Government is also likely to follow the same in a day or two. The immediate disappointment with this will be for Nani’s Tuck Jagadish.
Tuck Jagadish team has planned four public events – one each week until the release of the film. The first event concluded last night in Rajamahendravaram. Now with these new rules, the remaining three events may become doubtful. That will mean they have to revamp their promotional strategy.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana, Tuck Jagadish will release on April 23rd. The movie has Ritu Varma playing the female lead. The film has music composed by Thaman.
