Tollywood is seeing an unusually long gap between the release of two top-tier hero films. After Sarkaru Vaari Paata last year, the next biggie is Adipurush releasing on 16th June 2023. The gap is almost 400 days.
And the release of Adipurush is also not certain as of now due to ongoing technical issues and controversies. So the next biggie might be Mahesh Babu’s film SSMB28, in the direction of Trivikram.
The movie-crazy Telugu audience would be starving to watch a big superstar film in theaters, and Trivikram’s movie will reap the maximum benefit of this long void.
Even if Adipurush releases in June, even then, the audience will not be satisfied by watching just one star-hero film. So the hype, pre-sales, and anticipation of watching Mahesh Babu & Trivikram’s film will be humongous.
Their combo has already delivered classics like Athadu and Khaleja. Both films are loved by the audience not only in the Telugu states but also in the USA.
So a third film coming in the combination of Mahesh and Trivikram, and that too when there has been a huge void of star hero films in Tollywood, is nothing but a bumper lottery for Trivikram, Mahesh, and the producers. The business can go to any level for a non-Rajamouli film.
Pooja Hegde and Sreeleela have been signed to play the female lead opposite Mahesh in this romantic-family action drama. Thaman is scoring the music for this film which is being produced by Haarika and Hassine creations banner.
