No film post the release of Atharintiki Daredi has crossed its figure of highest Day 1. Baahubali is all set to cross this mark after almost two years and that too by massive margin. Trade is expecting Baahubali to beat Atharintiki Daredi’s opening day record by at least five crores more, something that has never been seen before. It goes without saying that in the process all areas will see new record highs.
In overseas Baahubali is going to chase the premiere number set by Aagadu and that too is expected to be broken by a massive margin. As we reportedly previously the talk in distribution circles is whether the premiere numbers will breach the Million mark or not.
Following the openings day records, Baahubali will be chasing the yet unchallenged records of Atharintiki Daredi, first week in both domestic as well as overseas markets. This one is dependent on the talk the film gets but the trade is betting that Baahubali would beat them with just an average talk. If it gets better talk, expect first week record to be tumbled even earlier, they say.
