Last Telugu Biopic for the Season

Udyama Simham: Last Telugu Biopic for the SeasonMaybe, this is the last biopic that is coming in this season. We are talking about the biopic on Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao that is coming to the theaters at the end of this month. ‘Udhyama Simham’ is being bankrolled by Kalvakuntla Nageshwar Rao and was helmed by Alluri Krishnam Raju with Tamil actor Karate Rajan playing the lead role as KCR.

This is election season and several anti and pro-political vendetta films in the guise of biopics have made their way to the theaters. Now, ‘Lakshmi’s NTR‘ is out and needless to say that it was to support a political party and nothing in praise of NTR and hence, not his biopic. From the title of the film, ‘Udhyama Simham’ tells us it is the tale of another politically influential leader KCR.

Probably, this could be the last biopic based on political personalities, coming this season. To be frank, none of these political biopics could pull crowds to the theaters as they lacked that drama and emotional connect, not even legendary NTR could do it. Will ‘Udhyama Simham’ be any different? Not likely.
