With due respects to late Uday Kiran who passed away by committing suicide last year, the hero in discussion here is ‘Parare’ fame Uday Kiran. On Saturday the actor was arrested by police for allegedly beating up a badminton player by name M.V.S.Praveen Kumar who lives in SR Nagar, Hyderabad.
When Praveen Kumar came to a pub in Jubilee Hills area (road no.36), Uday Kiran attacked the player and beat him up. There has been animosity between the two since long. Uday Kiran who was in an inebriated state happened to see Praveen coming into the pub and immediately attacked him.
Police arrived soon after they received information about the attack and arrested both the actor and the badminton player and booked case on them under sections 506 and 326. Uday Kiran has already got himself involved in a drugs case earlier.
