U.S. BO: AMJ $55 K, Bheemla $10KTelugu films had a rather dull day at the USA box office this Thursday. New release, Sharwanand‘s Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu got off to a rather weak start at the box office as it made $55K from the premieres. Sharwa’s poor run of form could be cited as the reason behind the same.

Last week’s big-ticket release Bheemla Nayak too slowed down big time as made a mere $10K at the US box office this Thursday. The film has collected a shade under $2.3 million till now. From what we can see, the film might end up collecting in the range of $2.4-2.5 million, provided it fares well this weekend.

Coming back to Sharwnand’s AMJ, the film opened to rather weak reviews and it remains to be seen if the film can gain any momentum through the course of the weekend.

Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam is next in line for theatrical release next week – 11 March and the film will certainly walk away with the lion’s share of new bookings next week. So, this weekend will be deciding the box office fate of both AMJ and Bheemla Nayak.

Later this month, RRR hits the silver screens across the globe and this magnum is tipped to be the big event film that pulls the domestic and overseas audience to the theatres in big numbers. The film is releasing in the highest number of screens for any Indian film in the USA and it is expected to get off to a record-breaking start.
