When RRR’s release got delayed due to Omicron Variant, Rajamouli and his father, K Vijayendra Prasad, started dabbling with storylines for their next project with Superstar Mahesh Babu.
During an interview, Rajamouli recalls that he started thinking about what kind of storylines would be interesting in those two and a half months. He said that he has zeroed in on a couple of storylines, both very exciting and large scale, and he would soon select one.
He added that he is just at an entry point, but he assures Mahesh Babu fans that it’s going to be an epic film with lots of action and adventure. Rajamouli also said that he has been a huge fan of William Wyler’s 1959 film Ben Hur, and all his films have been in some way or the other inspired by that epic film.
Rajamouli is hoping to start shooting the film by the end of 2022, which is going to be produced by KL Narayana.
