Two films released today in different languages but they both had to deal with Baahubali storm in common. The films are Salman Khan starrer Bajarangi Bhaijaan in Hindi and Dhanush starrer Maari in Tamil.
Looking at the openings they got and the competition they had, one must say that while Dhanush is fighting, the Bollywood star has completely overhauled the competition. In Tamil Nadu Baahubali has retained good number of screens and hence a near full house opening by Dhanush too is looking like a mere fight. In Bollywood it’s a different case though as the Salman Khan starrer has virtually replaced Baahubali everywhere.
Now all that the trade is if the Salman Khan starrer can break the opening day record of Baahubali with the talk it has got. Dhanush’s Maari has got good openings but the talk isn’t that encouraging which might result in a fall post weekend, says the trade.
