This Vijaya Dasami, KCR will be setting foot on AP soil for the first time in about 14 years. KCR, the man behind the state bifurcation will be visiting Amaravati and wish good luck for the new capital of AP that is being planned there. KCR did not get to go to AP in 14 years of Telangana struggle.
Actually KCR should have visited Vijayawada way back in 2010 for the Public meeting arranged by Katti Padma Rao. KCR consented to go there but the event was cancelled in the last minute due to Laila Cyclone then. During the final days of Telangana Struggle, KCR announced that he will tour AP and explain the need of bifurcation.
Staunch supporters of United AP, Lagadapati Rajagopal and TG Venkatesh also welcomed his tour but the then government refused permission as it may cause law and order problem in the region. So it did not happen then. KCR is likely to Tirumala and Vijayawada in the next two months to give some pending gifts to Lord Balaji and Kanaka Durgamma on the behalf of Telangana government.
