Cinema is for art say many people. But the people who are into it soon understand that it is business more. Here in the industry baring a few, most of the relations are commercial. At the end of the day, the fate of most of the relations is decided by a film’s success or failure. In failure, people hide faces and success attracts people like nothing else can. And in such an industry, what is this concept of freebies in the first place? One may have heard of freebies offered by political leaders to woo voters but never heard of freebies by cine stars!
Coming to the point, presently Allu Arjun is shooting for his part in Gunasekhar’s ‘Rudramadevi and according to the buzz he didn’t charge even a penny for the cameo he is doing for the movie. Mahesh Babu is also going to play a cameo in Sudheer Babu’s ‘Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini’. He too is going to do it for free. Though these appear to be noble gestures from two top heroes of TFI, the actual reasons behind are apparent.
Superstar Mahesh Babu is doing it for free for his brother-in-law, to promote Sudheer Babu. Stylish star Allu Arjun is doing the cameo for free because allegedly his producer father Allu Arvind is interested in the film and has joined the production of the film. Both the cameos are targetted to attract the respective fans of these top heroes to the films which have no star hero power. What an idea!
