Sailesh Kolanu Movie director_Gowtam Naidu TinnanuriGowtam Tinnanuri and Sailesh Kolanu emerged as new promising talents as they tasted success early in their career with films like Jersey and HIT. Both got a chance to remake these films in Hindi.

Gowtam Tinnauri remade Jersey with Shahid Kapoor. Allu Aravind and Dil Raju produced it with a budget of more than 100 crores. Sailesh Kolanu directed the Hindi remake of HIT produced by Dil Raju again with a budget of 25 crores.

Unfortunately, both films turned out to be disasters. Both directors lost the momentum gained from the success of their films just before pandemic. Luckily for Sailesh, he delivered HIT 2 within a few months after HIT (Hindi). The success of HIT 2 erased the failure of Hindi HIT, and Sailesh once again joined the league of successful directors.

But things haven’t been the same for Gowtam Tinnanuri. He is still struggling to set up his next project in Telugu. Ram Charan was almost confirmed for his next, but he chose to opt-out at the last minute. Gowtam is now in advance talks with Vijay Deverakonda, and the project is almost confirmed.

Gowtam has to prove himself all over again to prove his talent and set up bigger projects with bigger stars in the future.

Gowtam Tinnanuri and Sailesh Kolanu got big breaks in their careers around the same time; both got success around the same time, then moved to Bollywood and delivered flops. But after that, their fates have been very different.
