A fight in brewing in Bollywood currently over the leads of two of the most anticipated films of the coming year. We are talking about the films Shuddhi and Bajirao Mastani which are made by Karan Johar and Sanjal Leela Bhansali respectively. Both the films have been in news for a long time over their lead actors. It all started with Hrithik and Kareena Kapoor walking out of Shuddhi and at the same time Ramleela being a grand success.
The problem arose because both the makers wanted the Ramleela pair, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in their film, according to sources. Ramleela being the film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself everyone expected the pair to work with him again but that didn’t go as planned initially as they were attracted towards Shuddhi instead. Now due to some differences that are still unknown the pair is reportedly thinking back at returning to their Ramleela director instead. This has left Shuddhi with no cast currently and the production house is going wild with its casting choices by hyping every big star to be associated with it.
The interesting thing here is that both the film without an official announcement of cast or commencement of shooting, has locked the same release date next year.
