For the unversed, Rashmika broke her engagement with noted Kannada actor and her Kirik Party costar Rakshit Shetty right in the early stages of her acting career. She had been mostly focused on other language films ever since and this in turn lead to Kannada cinema followers mocking her and spreading hate every now and again.
Now, a reputed Kannada channel has mocked Rashmika Mandanna in their comedy show. In one of the skits in the show, a depiction of Rashmika’s character from Pushpa is trolled and mocked.
In the skit, an actor is made to play Rashmika’s character in Pushpa and she claims(in Rashmika’s point of view) she is a national crush now and is very popular. Then this statement is ridiculed and shamed by another actor in the skit. This is an ugly jibe at Rashmika.
Netizens are now calling out the TV channel over their cheap comments on Rashmika. “Wonder why these Kannada people have been holding a grudge for so long on Rashmika. Trolling a woman so badly on TV is as bad as it can get.” A netizen commented.
