‘Dear Comrade‘ is certified with a UA by the CBFC and the certificate disclosed that the run time of the movie is close to 2 hours and 50 minutes. That’s quite a lengthy run time. We know that longer run time wasn’t something new to Deverakonda.
His earlier movie, ‘Arjun Reddy’ that was a blockbuster proved that run time wouldn’t be an issue when there is proper content that can engage the audiences. Take the case of Ram Charan‘s ‘Rangasthalam’.
The audiences didn’t feel it was lengthy as there was engaging snd intriguing content throughout. So, one needn’t be obsessed with the lengthy run time if every scene in the movie is necessary for telling the story, effectively.
We don’t know what could be the result of ‘Dear Comrade’. But, Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are doing everything in their capacity to promote the movie and reach the target audiences. Let’s wish them all the best.
