When we felt that all is well with regard to the Telugu remake of critically acclaimed Tamil movie 96, there seems to be troubled waters between the producer and the director. There seems to be a disagreement over the choice of the music director.
Dil Raju wanted to alleged rope in a top music director for the remake while the director of the original movie, C Prem Kumar who is helming the remake as well wants to retain the MD Govind Vasantha who rendered the music for the original. However, it’s not clear if they had come to an understanding, finally.
96 had all the things falling in the right place and one must give due credit to the music director, as well. The remake doesn’t need a top music director as the background score forms the crucial part in conveying the true emotions. So, it’s justified that Prem Kumar wants Govind Vasantha. Let’s wait and see what would be Dil Raju’s decision.
