Telugu cinema has been making a splash on a pan-India level now and it is no more local industry. With RRR, Tollywood has also gone global.
Directors like SS Rajamouli, Sukumar, Koratala Siva, Puri Jagannadh etc who are Trivikram’s contemporaries, are now making films not just for the Telugu audience. But Trivikram, on the other hand, is still stuck in the rut of making Telugu films catering only to the Telugu audience.
Despite delivering more hits and blockbusters than his contemporaries, Trivikram is now left behind because he has restricted himself to only one region. His next film with Mahesh Babu is also not a pan-India film.
Trivikram has now crossed his 50s and it’s high time he starts making films that have pan-India appeal. He has to update himself and make films that are beyond family-oriented entertainers. He needs to make mass and stylish entertainers on a big scale that will appeal to a larger section of the Indian audience.
