It was a big mistake that Trivikram didn’t buy the rights to the French movie ‘Largo Winch’ before free-making it in Telugu as ‘Agnyaathavaasi’. It was supposed to be a blockbuster but turned out to be a big dud at the box-office.
Trivikram has to bear a lot because of this plagiarism. Now, we have the latest news that the director bought the rights of Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani’s novel for making it into a movie starring NTR in the lead. It’s nice to buy the rights directly from the author rather than taking inspiration and trying to make a film loosely based on a novel like he did for ‘A… Aa’.
But then, we have another doubt. Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani’s novels primary deal with human relationships, love stories and a heroine with loads of self-respect and a hero who is filthy rich but falls for the heroine who doesn’t fall for his charms. So, what would be the genre of the film Trivikram is going to make with NTR?
