Trivikram, How Did You Miss These?Siddhu Jonnalagadda‘s DJ Tillu has released the last week and is the first hit of Tollywood after the third wave. The movie has been rated 2.75 on M9News, an elite rating for good films. Keeping aside the box office success, one can not ignore the missed opportunity of the film.

DJ Tillu has a faulty second half. The second half especially the long hospital sequence is a patience tester. Also, the heroine character is so abrupt. If the character is well defined, it would have worked wonders. We see the actress as a confused girl.

Also, the conclusion with Murali Sharma’s character is also disappointing. And the less we talk about the weak climax involving Raja Ravindra the better. If these errors are corrected, the movie could have a superhit second half. And the movie would have been another Jathiratnalu.

Now coming to the real topic, ace director Trivikram Srinivas is actively involved in this project. It is a surprise that such glaring and easily correctable mistakes escaped his radar. It is not that Trivikram is a director who did not deliver flops.

But Trivikram’s role in this project is that of an outsider who can judge a film sitting outside. It is shocking that he ignored these easy and glaring mistakes. Given that Sithara Entertainments deploys Trivikram to supervise all their films, this is something that needs to be taken care.
