TrishaThere was an Income Tax case filed on Trisha by the officials when the Assessment Officer has levied Rs 1.11 crore as penalty for evading the tax. But, the High Court has dismissed the case on Trisha giving her a big relief from the case that had been haunting her since 2010-11.

According to the proofs submitted by Trisha’s lawyer, the advance payments for future projects were included in the assessment as income and hence, an IT case was filed against her for declaring her income wrong. But, the tribunal that looked into the case gave the judgment feeling that Trisha didn’t conceal the facts, intentionally.

Anyway, the judgment came in Trisha’s favor because she showed the advance payments in the balance sheet that was submitted along with the Income Tax returns. It was a case against Trisha by the income tax department.
