At the pre-release event, the producer Srinivas Kanuru of 22nd November release ‘Ragala 24 Gantallo’ looked very confident that his movie has content that can entertain audiences and through word of mouth, it would be successful.
Innocently, he said that he approached Anushka, Kajal Aggarwal, Raashi Khanna, Regina Cassandra etc. to do the lead role in the movie, but they had their own commitments and therefore, ultimately it was Eesha Rebba who accepted the offer.
According to him, Kajal Agarwal even asked him not to tell anyone as she wanted the story for herself. But, her schedule didn’t allow her to do the film. Well, that seemed a bit funny coming from the debutante producer.
She thanked the director for choosing her after trying for Anushka and Kajal. However, she meant no offence as she knew that Telugu girls getting a female-oriented movie is not an easy job these days in the industry.
All set for 22nd November release, ‘Ragala 24 Gantallo’ will be one of those movies that would sheerly run with good word of mouth. Let’s hope that if it’s really a movie with good content, it would have its share of the success.
