Music-Director-Shashi-Preetam-Suffers-Heart-Attack,-Stable-NowTrendsetting music director Shashi Preetam has had a heart attack. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Post the operation; the condition is reported to be stable, now.

According to the reports, Shashi Preetam was brought in in a serious condition. However, after the operation, it is stable. But, he is still kept under medical supervision and support in the ICU.

Not many might be aware of music director Shashi Preetham now, but to those who were adults in the nineties; his name will be memorable for a lifetime. All this is just with just a couple of films under his belt.

Shashi Preetam’s debut as a composer was the sensational and classic album Gulabi. It also marked the debut of director Krishna Vamsi. JD Chakravarthy and Maheshwari were the leads. The songs were considering trendsetting for those days and are still hummable and liked till date. His next was also for the director, Samudram. Besides these two, he had Hands Up and Raghava to his credit in Telugu.

Shashi Preetam hasn’t had anything since then. His last known work was for the Hindi film, Mukhbir released in 2008.
