Nithiin is testing his luck second time this year with Rang De. The movie directed by Venky Atluri releases on the 26th of this month and the promotions are in full swing. The trailer of the Rom-Com is out and it looks promising.
Rang De is the story of a boy and girl who were involved in a Tom and Jerry-like fights since their childhood. Anu tortures Arjun by showing her good marks belittling him before his family. On unexpected lines, Anu forces Arjun into marriage and also into making her pregnant.
These are the major portions of the trailer and have enough scope to generate the fun which is needed to drive the film successfully into the audience. In the later parts of the trailer, there is an emotional thread that indicates there is a relationship between them beyond the catfights which are superficial.
That emotional part looked a bit rushed in the trailer but then, it is often the case due to time constraints for a trailer. If that thread is effectively handled along with the comedy, the team will have a winner. Keerthy Suresh has got a chance to express herself and the trailer indicates the movie is made on lavish production values.
Rang De is a tested formula which also means less risk. The trailer carries the promise that is needed to keep the audience interested in this summer.
