Finally, the long wait for the second season of The Family Man has come to an end. We have the trailer of the new season, and it answers a lot of questions that are on our mind for a long time. But before that, we are assured of more fun and more action in chapter two.
First of all, The Family Man 2 looks like a standalone season and has nothing to do with the first part. It is all a new story set in Tamil Nadu is what one can get from the trailer. It is a new mission for Srikanth Tiwari, a secret intelligence officer.
The threat in the new season comes from none other than Samantha. It marks her debut in a web series and also a pan-India appearance at the same time. Coming to the villainous part, it won’t be her first, though. She had done that before and failed to ace it. However, it looks like she has done much better here in a part that looks crazily threatening from the trailer.
Raj & DK, the creators of The Family Man, bring forth the fun and action in equal proportions for the second season. It looks more confident and exciting and bigger in scale than the first one, which is always a good sign.
The entire cast of the first season is present here. They continue the chemistry from where they left previously. It is palpable from the glimpses we get here. Manoj Bajpai is the show-stealer. It will be interesting to see him pitted against Samantha.
