Trailer talk: Drishyam –Visuals can be deceiving

We couldn’t have given a better punch line than what the makers have officially come up with for Drishyam. Yes visuals can be deceiving and that holds so true for the film as well as trailer of the film. While the film, courtesy its original, is surely high on content the trailer of the Telugu remake is very poor in comparison. It gives a low budget and low quality vibe certainly that shouldn’t be the case with a top hero like Venkatesh.

Also the whole locations and set up is clearly lacking the nativity. The content is strong here and the makers do give a glimpse of it towards the end of the trailer. The big positive is the family angle on display here, after a long gap Venkatesh is doing a film that taps into his female family audience base. All that we can do now is wait for the movie to hit the screens and see if the content does the trick and draws this family audience in droves to the theatre. On the trailer, it could have been clearly much better cut, without any doubt.
