The trailer of Satyadev starrer Thimmarusu is out. It is the comeback film in Telugu cinema post the second wave of the pandemic induced lockdown. It is a mystery thriller, and the trailer has no doubt got us hooked.
Satyadev, trying to develop a small momentum as a solo hero, has another rock-solid platform. In Thimmarusu, he plays a righteous lawyer fighting for the right side. He seems totally in command with all the style and charisma loaded in equal measures.
Coming to Thimmarusu, it is a remake of the Kannada film Birbal also known as Birbal Trilogy: Case 1 Finding Vajramuni. The premise is intriguing; the screenplay keeps one on the edge of the seat for the most part. The entertainment is also neatly integrated into the narrative.
The Telugu remake looks like an upgrade making wise. Priyanka Jawalkar plays the female lead. The casting is also good, with the likes of Brahmaji, Ajay, and Ravi Babu playing key roles.
