However, a sudden tragic demise in RGV’s family has left the Rangeela filmmaker emotional. The ace director lost his cousin P Som Shekar in Hyderabad due to the COVID-19. The deceased had worked with RGV in some of the iconic films like Rangeela, Satya, Jungle and Daud to name a few, where he was in the production department.
He played an important role in RGV’s life and the filmmaker rues that he would be missed badly. On the other side actor JD Chakravarti who also had shared a great bond with Som Shekhar said that of late he had become reclusive as he kept to himself. RGV is going to miss him the most, asserts JD Chakravarti.
RGV recently took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi where the latter broke down as he addressed a speech. RGV frayed Modi with his tweet where he posted that the PM deserves an Oscar for his reaction. On the work front, RGV recently released the gangster film, D Company on Sparks OTT.
