In what can be termed as exact replica of events in 2013, actor Nani is once again reeling with twin failures. This time both the films Yevade Subrahmanium and Jenda Pai Kapiraju released on a single day. With mixed response different audience liked one or the other film to some degree but none so conclusively to show some mark at the box office.
Overall thanks to being fresh product and an on time release, Yevade Subrahmanium, among the two releases fared better. The bigger centers and overseas were its fetching while Jenda Pai Kapiraju failed to show any growth after a moderate opening day and weekend.
Is this the all time low for actor Nani? Well the trade surely thinks so which then brings us to the actor’s future films. Nani is doing a film for production house 14 Reels Entertainment and another one a joint production between UV Creations and Geetha Arts. With talents like Maruthi and Hanu Raghavapudi involved and such repute banners behind one can say that Nani is sure to go higher from this point on.
The actor as well and the trade and well wishers are pinning hopes on at least one of these films to bring him back in the reckoning. Looking at those combinations it one does get a positive feeling. Here’s hoping the feelings turn out to be true and these debacles are a thing of past.
