The current reigning star of Tamil cinema, Thalapathy Vijay is under the IT scanner again. It seems to be a regular happening for before or after a new release.
This time, Vijay is grilled by the IT sleuths as part of raids on a production house. It is none other than AGS Entertainments. They have produced the star’s last flick Bigil which also happens to be the biggest blockbuster in Vijay’s career.
All the various subsidiaries related to AGS are under seizing by the IT department. The raids are happening since the morning across twenty or more properties of AGS.
Vijay, who has been part of AGS Productions Bigil was naturally a soft target. The star who is currently shooting for his upcoming flick Master is being questioned for many hours. He is expected to issue a statement after the completion of the whole process.
One way or the other, Vijay has continuously been under pressure by the government, be it state or the center. Some of them have also generated tremendous heat during the release of the respective movies. We have to wait and see what is in store for Master, which is slated to release in April 2020.
