Suresh Babu made it clear that they are not going to launch an OTT service of their own. It might (or might not at all) happen, but that would be known at a later point in time, not now. However, content for the digital platform is created, confirmed the top producer.
On the buzz regarding the online release of some films, Suresh Babu said there is nothing wrong with it if it is financially viable. If there is some gain, why shouldn’t one go for it, says the producer. But, he assured a sustained OTT release will not be a trend in the longer run, unless the whole system is changed. It (a digital release) could only be a temporary measure.
