One of the top film maker in B’Town Sanjay Leela Bhansali is so impressed with the actress that he is doing back to back big films starring Deepika as the main female lead.
After ‘Ramleela, Goliyon Ki Rasleela’, she is once again working in the director’s period drama ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Speaking on her realtionship with the director, Deepika says that it is the most beautiful one which is based on mutual trust. They don’t need to talk much and he doesn’t need to direct her much. She means to say that they understand each other pretty good.
She thinks that she must be very lucky to be working with him in back to back films produced and directed by him. She is playing the role of Masthani, the lover of Maratha ruler Bajirao (Ranveer Singh). Priyanka Chopra is playing another female lead role as Bajirao’s first wife. We know Bhansali is one of the reputed film maker who made critically acclaimed films. And reportedly he had been working on this film for 10 years. Deepika is lucky indeed!
