Top Bollywood director Ayan Mukharjee who is responsible for two classic movies Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani with Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly going to spend a decade on a single project. It goes without saying that the hero would be none other than Ranbir Kapoor.
The good thing here is that this single project would be a combination of three films that represent a series. This will be a superhero film trilogy on the lines of Batman trilogy according to the director. Karan Johar who is presenting Baahubali will be the producer of this film.
So far in Bollywood only successful superhero franchise is Krrish. Apart from this series there are very few films made in this genre even the few that got made were flops. It is therefore a huge risk that director Ayan is taking. Let’s hope a decade on same project is worthwhile for the young talented filmmaker.
