Telugu film audiences might not know Bollywood film maker Raj Kumar Hirani’s name so well but they surely know the names of the acclaimed films he made aka Munnabhai series (remade as Shankardada series with Chiru) with Sanjay Dutt, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘pk’ with Aamir Khan.
For the first time, Hirani has taken up to co-produce a South movie ‘IIrudhi Suttru’ featuring Madhavan in the lead. During the audio launch of the movie, Hirani surprised the audiences by saying that he hopes to get to work with Suriya someday and opined that the South star hero is a fine actor.
That’s a great compliment coming from a film maker like Hirani who always made films which are branded as sensible and won great acclaim. When Hirani said this, Suriya was also present for the event.
