She is the top actress of Bollywood at present and has block buster hits in her account which are both commercial and non–commercial films. Even Deepika’s non–commercial film ‘Piku’ became a surprise hit showing the star power of the actress at the ticket window.
According to the latest information available, the star actress has hiked her fees by Rs.2 crore for extending her contract with a bank for 18 months. Though the numbers aren’t made official, one knows, no star talks about his/her earnings openly for obvious reasons.
Given to her present number one status in Bollywood, Deepika’s fees hike doesn’t seem to surprise the audiences and we know there has been an increase in demand for remuneration of the actresses as well in Bollywood with the success of women-oriented movies recently.
