With the arrival of ‘Paala Pitta’, the entire audio of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming film Maharshi is out. A final judgment on the audio can be made now, and we have to say without any hesitation that it is among the top 3 flop audios for the Superstar.
Right from his debut, Superstar Mahesh Babu has had good to great audios with a classic or memorable song in each album. The association of Mani Sharma and Mahesh Babu have yielded some beautiful results, even though towards the end, they lost the sheen.
The combination of Superstar Mahesh Babu with Devi Sri Prasad was a late one. It was after more than a decade that the combo came together with 1 Nenokkadine. Post- that, they have had two more association in Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu. The latter two were commercially successful which paved the way for Maharshi.
Unfortunately, Devi Sri Prasad has failed to deliver with Maharshi. There is not a single worthwhile song as it is filled with ho-hum and mediocre variety. Only ‘Padara Padara’ is somewhat redeemed due to its lyrics.
It is all now on the theatrical trailer and ‘content’ to save the day. Devi Sri Prasad has been fortunate in this regard. Remember F2? Will that be the case with Maharshi?
Coming to Superstar Mahesh Babu, here are what we think the three weakest audios in his career. There are few more albums which are closer to the ones mentioned below in that they had a couple of likeable songs, but what separates them from those below is they had an outright classic single along with those decent numbers.
