‘A regional film from down South dubbed in Hindi’, this is what Bollywood is saying while referring to the records created by ‘Baahubali 2’. None of the Bollywood top heroes could come anywhere near the records set by the Prabhas’ starrer in 2017.
Prabhas-Rajamouli movie stands tall as the highest grosser of Bollywood with Rs. 511 crore lifetime collections for the Hindi version. The next movie in the list which happens to be ‘Judwaa 2’ featuring young hero Varun Dhawan is Rs. 373 crore away from ‘Baahubali2’.
In fact, the combined collections of the next three movies are falling short to match the collections of Rajamouli’s epic drama, alone and that’s the reason why Bollywood is calling it ‘alarming difference’. ‘Judwaa 2’ is followed by Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet, Ek Prem Katha’.
