After Baahubali, fans have been disappointed with each of Prabhas’ outings. Saaho and Radhe Shyam couldn’t reach the high expectations the trade and audience had for them. Now Prabhas is coming up with three huge films one after the another within a span of six months.
Adipurush is slated to release on 16th June 2023, Salaar is set for September 28 release, and today it was announced that Project K will unleash on the big screens on 12th January 2024.
This is a rare occurrence in the history of Indian cinema that a huge star like Prabhas is coming up with the three biggest films from three different industries in such a short span of time. This is a huge opportunity for Prabhas to score a big success with each film and become the biggest pan-India star India has ever produced.
But on the flip side, three biggies with such small gaps would be too much to handle not only for the fans but also the trade. There should be a considerable gap between the releases of a big star hero like Prabhas or else the impact of each of the films gets diluted. Too much too soon doesn’t work all the time.
