Telugu Film Producers’ Union President C Kalyan reacted on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s comments on Telugu film industry biggies meeting with Telangana Government. He tried to downplay any fissures between the industry biggies saying we are all same. But the explanation did not sound good.
“Chiranjeevi has a face value and we asked him to lead us. Nagarjuna garu came and Balayya said he would come if needed. We will go after anyone whom we feel will work for us. Some people will be useful in some Governments. Our works happening is important to us,” he said.
C Kalyan is saying that they are after Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna since they have a say in both the Telugu States. So, they may have asked Balayya to lead if TDP is in power. But then, that brings us to the question if industry biggies will only look at their works happening and do not respect the value of a person.
In another interview, C Kalyan mentioned that only producers went for the meeting, and artists did not go. So, Balayya was not invited. He may have missed the fact that Balayya is one of the producers of NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. On Balayya’s part, he should have mentioned about the Real-estate part.
