Karthikeya 2 had a theatrical release with not many expectations among the moviegoers on August 13th. The film gained momentum from the first day itself due to extremely positive word of mouth and continued its good run even in its third week, not only in Telugu states and in the Hindi belt but also at the US box office.
By the end of its third Sunday, Karthikeya 2 has collected $1.35 Million at the US box office, which is simply phenomenal. Surprisingly, Karthikeya 2 turned out to be the fifth-highest USA grosser in 2022 after RRR, Radhe Shyam, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, and Bheemla Nayak.
Karthikeya2 has all chances of crossing the $1.5 Million mark at the US box office.
Liger, on the other hand, is struggling to cross the $800k mark. Trade analysts say that the US distributors of Liger will suffer big losses.
Timeless blockbuster, Sitaramam, is coming to the end of its run now in the US. The total so far stands at $1.33 Million.
